Who We Are
The Thingo Foundation was born out of a deep conviction: that those who are blessed with time, talent, and resources have a responsibility to share them. We are a Christian, non-profit organisation rooted in biblical principles of love, generosity, and service. Everything we do is guided by one simple belief: that every person, regardless of background or circumstance, is worthy of dignity and care.

Our work is focused in South Africa, and every rand raised is invested directly back into the communities we serve. We do not simply run projects. We build relationships, show up consistently, and walk alongside the people in our care.

Our Partners

We are grateful to the individuals, organisations, and companies who walk alongside us. Our work would not be possible without the generosity of partners whose support has helped us reach hundreds of families in need.

We are always open to new partnerships. If you are a company looking to fulfil your CSI mandate with purpose and professionalism, we would love to hear from you.

Our Mission

To enrich lives one soul at a time by providing tangible support to children, youth, women, and the elderly across South Africa. To equip individuals and communities with the tools they need to thrive. And to create meaningful opportunities for those who wish to give back.

Our Vision

To help build a South Africa where every person, regardless of where they come from, has the opportunity to live with dignity, purpose, and hope.

Our Values

Faith

Our foundation is built on biblical principles. We love others as we love ourselves, and we believe that giving back is one of the highest callings any person can answer.

Compassion

We see the person behind every need. Whether we are handing out a school uniform, hosting a mentorship session, or simply sitting with an elderly person over a meal, we do it with our whole hearts.

Integrity

Every donation, every partnership, and every project is handled with full transparency and accountability. We are registered with SARS and issue Section 18A certificates, because trust is the foundation of everything we do.

Empowerment

We not only provide relief. We work to build confidence, skills, and hope for a better future. We believe in people and in their potential to rise above their circumstances. Our foundation is built on biblical principles. We love others as we love ourselves, and we believe that giving back is one of the highest callings any person can answer.

Community

We are not outsiders looking in. We are part of the communities we serve, and we are committed to showing up for the long haul.
